Hello. Do you know that December 1st is the World AIDS day? Today I would like to ask Dr.Bean about AIDS.

Q:What is AIDS?

Dr.Bean:
AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. By name, we can understand a lot about the disease. It is Acquired, meaning that it must be transmitted from an outside source. It affects the Immune system, and causes a Deficiency. This means that it causes the body's natural defenses to be worn down. And it is a Syndrome, which means that it is a general name for a number of common symptoms.
AIDS is not a virus in itself. It is simply a name for the later stages of HIV.

Q:
Where does it exist?
Dr.Bean:
HIV can be found in primarily four bodily fluids. It is important to remember these four bodily fluids in order to understand how HIV is transmitted. Blood, Vaginal fluids, Semen, and Breast milk.
HIV can also be transmitted by sharing needles and works used to inject any substance, such as heroin, cocaine, steroids. Ports of entry: Sharing blood with someone by using a needle they used into the vein, muscles, or under the skin (skin popping), or Having unprotected sex so that you ejaculate inside someone else, or someone comes inside you, whether it is vaginal, oral or anal sex.

Q:Where it doesn't exist?
Dr.Bean: Sweat ,Tears,Urine
HIV can sometimes live in saliva, but it would take two gallons at once, for anyone to be infected with HIV this way.
You cannot get HIV from:Casual kissing, hugging, touching, or ordinary contact. Living with, shaking hands, or sitting next to someone with HIV. Sleeping in the same dorm with someone infected. Sharing cups and eating utensils with someone infected.

Q:How to protect myself?
Dr.Bean:Your best protection against HIV is having no sexual intercourse and using no drugs. This is known as abstinence. Although, there are activities that other people engaged in, they said that they are FUN, ENJOYABLE, and pose NO risk of HIV infection.
The following are activities that are considered high risk (SUPER DANGEROUS) for infection or re-exposure if engaged in WITHOUT a latex barrier:
RECEPTIVE (receiving) anal intercourse INSERTIVE (giving) anal intercourse RECEPTIVE (receiving) vaginal intercourse INSERTIVE (giving) vaginal intercourse ORAL SEX on a man with ejaculation ORAL SEX on a man without ejaculation ORAL SEX on a woman ORAL-ANAL contact - rimming (not risky for HIV infection, BUT risky for other infections)

AND DO NOT FORGET TO Never share a needle when injecting drugs.

Q:Is there any hope for a vaccine soon?
Dr.Bean:
Clinical trials are ongoing, as well as field trials to determine efficacy, safety, tolerance, and to judge the body's immune system response to a preventative HIV vaccine.
But till there is a Vaccine Prevention and Education will remain our only succefull intervention to STOP AIDS.

Me:Thank you for answering my questions. We all have to have a right knowledge about AIDS, don't we? Thank you for your time.
Dr.Bean: No problem at all.

There was a man who was a really good baseball player, called Taro. He often makes new records in baseball and was the most popular and famous player in Japan.

He was killed by the knife, when he got out the car in front of his house, 11:00PM.

Many police men and detectives tried hard to find evedience, but they couldn't. However, one detective called Suzuki, suspected of one baseball player. His name was Matsujyo.

Matsujyo is also a good baseball player, it was said that he had some arguments with Taro about money and baseball. However, he had been missing since he went to Guam with his friends about 1 month ago.

People in Japan were surprised at the news again. The news was that Matsujyo was alive and had been saved by a foreign ship in the sea near Guam. He came back Japan with his grown hair and mustache, sunburned body and ragged cloths.

Next day of his return, he gave a interviw to the media. He appered with wearing a clean cloths and face. He cut his hair and shaved his grown mustache. The detective, Suzuki saw the interview on TV and he was assured that Matsujyo is the criminal.

Hello, how are you?
Today I'm talking about my favorite place I've been to.
My favorite place so far is Brisbane, Australia.
I first went there about 5 years ago and in last Feburuary second time.
Have you been there?
It's a really beautidul place. There are many popular shops in the city, but there are a lot of greenery around the city. I liked the big park along the Brisbane river. When you go a little far away from the city, you might be able to see wild animals in the forest. Of course, there is a big koala park where many people from other countries visit for sightseeing and getting the photo with koala. Also if you drive a car for a while, you can go to the beautiful beaches or islands.
Also people in Brisbane are really friendly and kind. Everytime I visit there, I could have a good time.
I hope you can visit Brisbane one day and have a great time.
See you.
